The Portuguese Navy has sent the frigate N.R.P. Corte Real with one Lynx helicopter to Funchal, Madeira in order to assist local authorities to recover from the heavy storms that affected the portuguese island on the 20th. February.
After the arrival, the mission to the Lynx was recogning, transporting people and equipment to isolated places.
It's with an improved moral that all man and women a board N.R.P. Corte Real work all day and night here in Funchal, in order to assist those who need and to bring relief to the population of the affected areas.
